Sharon Played piano for my mom’s celebration of life. My request to her was to play jazz standards and Broadway hits. She was in tune to the vibe of the group as they assembled, and was appropriate with the musical selection and the volume Throughout the evening. She very much added to a grade send off for my mom. Our country club hired Sharon to play at our Valentine's Day Sweetheart's Dinner this year. Working with Sharon was a breeze, from the initial booking point through the day of. I booked Sharon to provide piano accompaniment for a very talented opera singer at my Mother's Memorial service. I knew the singer, but not Sharon. They had never worked together. Sharon was enthusiastic, very pleasant, and very willing to work with the singer to learn the music. She did a great job and helped make a very memorable and lovely Memorial service. I would highly recommend Sharon for almost any sort of event. She is a talented musician and very professional.

Sharon was a gift to our Christmas gathering! Her appearance and talent exceeded our expectations - I had looked for weeks for song books for Christmas carols and Sharon brought her own along - thus she was well prepared for the holidays! We had to alter her playing time at the last minute due to a friend of mine who also wanted to play piano at the party and Sharon was willing to adapt and very understanding, professional and gracious! Great pre party confirmation and post party follow up as well - I would hire her again in a second!:)

My husband (fiance at the time) and I were seeking a classical pianist to play alongside a string quartet at our wedding reception. We hired a service to move a baby grand Yamaha piano to the reception site. Sharon was unbelievably easy to work with from the moment we were in contact. She took all of the work out of our hands, coordinated with the string quartet on the playlist, and the music was flawless. Sharon offered a fairly comprehensive playlist with selections available from all musical genres. Our guests raved about the elegance of our reception music - all thanks to Sharon's beautiful piano playing. Her costs were also very reasonable.

Sharon played for our wedding earlier this month and did a wonderful job. In addition to helping us pick out our music, she coordinated a violin player to accompany her and was able to play a duet with a cousin who played saxophone for a special piece we wanted to have for our wedding. Her preparation was on spot and everything went off without a hitch and we received many compliments on her music and performance with the other musicians. Her correspondence leading up to the wedding was very helpful and gave us one less thing to worry about!

Sharon was the pianist for our wedding on October 20, 2012, and was excellent all the way around. My husband and I wanted to include non-traditional, modern songs in our ceremony and even though they were not in her current repertoire (which is quite expansive), Sharon was more than willing to learn them! This included learning several that she played for us in advance that we could listen to and pick from, which was so great! We even changed our mind two weeks out from the wedding and she accommodated that as well! She is very open to suggestions and gracious when you change your mind :) She also offered a number of suggestions, which was great. She was willing to come to our rehearsal the morning of, which we really appreciated also. The music during the ceremony and cocktail hour was just beautiful. Her willingness to accommodate all of our special requests really made our wedding so personal! We would absolutely recommend her!!

I was referred to Sharon by Ft. Snelling as a possibility to provide music for my father's memorial. Initially expecting an organist, I was very pleased to learn she was a pianist! As a family, we wanted more of a setting to celebrate our dad's life, and keep everything "light." Not only did Sharon understand our needs, she hit the nail right on the head, Coordinating a memorial from out of state is not easy, but Sharon made this part of the planning effortless. She provided me with suggestions of the kind of music that she felt would be suitable from my dad's era, and provided me with a list of other beautiful "traditional" selections from which to select from; and she was able to incorporate some of our suggestions as well. Her professionalism, communication and follow-through helped to make my dad's services special, and very meaningful. I just can't thank her enough and would hire her again in a second.

What to Expect
Sharon will work with you and your event team early on to ensure that your event details and Sharon's music reflects your vision for your event. If your venue provides a piano, Sharon will contact your venue to make sure it is in tune for your event. If you need Sharon to set up her portable piano and amplification, she will contact your planner and the venue to find out the set up requirements and the time allowed to accomplish the set up.
On the day of your event Sharon will arrive up to 60 minutes early to make sure everything is set up according to plan. She will be prepared to greet your guests with music if any them arrive early. You can count on Sharon to be prepared and to create a beautiful musical setting for you and your guests!

Setup Requirements
If Sharon provides her portable piano, she needs access to one electrical outlet. The space needed for her portable piano and audio speaker is 6' x 6'. The set up area must be dry. Sharon is not able to perform in wet conditions.
If your event is outdoors, a backup plan must be provided in case of inclement weather.

Your music for our wedding was absolutely beautiful! Having our wedding
in a different state than where we actually live (Chicago) was very
stressful, even with my mom helping. We were so happy to find out that
our reverend, pianist, and venue had all worked together before!!! Our
