Sharon Watson brought her concert-size harp into the great room of a relative’s large home. With all the round tables set up and decorated for my daughter’s baby shower, the addition of Sharon and her absolutely lovely harp music made the event magical! Sharon has been playing the organ and piano the last few Sundays at San Dieguito United Methodist Church, to the delight of the congregation. She can handle a wide range of musical styles and takes pains to use an appropriate mix stops on the organ.
We hired Sharon for our corporate event - a launch party for the new Venice Magazine, in conjunction with Stonegate Bank and the Sky Family YMCA. She plays the harp beautifully, and more people than I can count remarked on what an elegant and wonderful background her music provided for the party. I have been playing harp, piano and organ professionally for over 40 yrs and have masters degrees in each. I attended Stephens College, Indiana University and the American conservatory of music in Chicago. From orchestra pits to church organs and directing choirs to private galas and hotels I am able to play all musical genres. I have perfect pitch and can play in any key needed. I work closely with all my event planners and clients and offer very reasonable rates. I always arrive early and dress appropriately.
