We got tired of really boring retirement parties so we booked Shawn Carter after reviewing a couple of YouTube videos and he did not disappoint. As host and roastmaster, Shawn was funny and engaging and the whole audience loved him. Highly recommend you invite him to your next retirement party or roast.

I am so happy to bring Shawn into our company Christmas Party. I was looking to spice things up and add a little laughter. As I sat at my table while Shawn was doing his skit, I looked around and he had the whole room in stitches. After the event my employees were still talking about him and laughing. The 5 star review is from all 40 of us!!

I hired Shawn to lighten up the crowd before our annual mortgage bankers dinner. He was hilarious! I was crying laughing. He even was able to add some industry related humor which is tough! The hiring process was so easy, he was on time and very professional. He even stayed the whole time! I would hire Shawn again in a heartbeat!

What to Expect
I will provide a comedy show between 15 -60 minutes long depending on your request. Capable of being clean, dirty or anywhere in between. I am happy to write jokes relating to the gig and mix them in with my regular material.

For the past eight years, Shawn Carter has been a mainstay in the Boston comedy scene, and is currently one of the fastest rising comics in New England. Whether it is headlining clubs, participating in festivals, or hosting one of the city's longest-running open mics, Shawn's versatility and command of a room are a rare find even in a city loaded with talent. His act is full of the kind of wisdom that can only be acquired through years of making mistakes (he has made a lot of mistakes.) He has an ability to put a shine on the mundane and dreary that can only come through years of experience painting cars (he has painted a lot of cars.) Shawn's unique perspective and ability to please any crowd he encounters have made him a quick favorite among audiences of all ages.
