Demonstrating remarkable talent and entrepreneurial spirit, Shawn co-founded his own mobile DJ company, thriving for over four years before joining one of the Northwest Suburbs of Illinois' premier mobile DJ firms at 17. His early career was marked by prestigious opportunities, including demoing ESO mixers at the 2000 Atlantic City Mobile DJ Convention and serving as the DJ for WKSC FM Chicago’s Kiss FM Mobile Party Unit. Shawn's versatile performances spanned high school dances, weddings, corporate events, and high-profile concerts at iconic venues like the House of Blues Chicago.

In 2001, Shawn's career took a pivotal turn when he became the weekly resident DJ at a local nightclub.
