Sheila made everything so easy. At first I was nervous that we weren’t going to rehearse, but with enough communication it was not necessary. She was able to interchange the music according to what part of the song I wanted to actually walk down the aisle to and faded out the song that was too long before :)

We booked Sheila for our wedding ceremony and we are so glad we did. She was a true professional from the get go and made us feel at ease. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Sheila was such a joy to work with! She made everything so simple and easy for my wedding. I even asked her to do a song she had never done before. She found the sheet music before I even booked her! She helped plan my wedding music and offered suggestions. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early to set up. She even suggested playing an extra song to allow time for late arrivals (something I was extremely grateful for). I would 100% recommend her for an event! Such an awesome woman....I'm sad the wedding is over and I'm done working with her!

Sheila played 1930's, 40's and 50's for a 100 year old birthday. Her selections were perfect and her music was perfect for our open house. She started early and was willing to play longer if necessary. She was professional and I would recommend her for any event.

From the age of seven through high school, Sheila studied piano with local piano teachers in Warren, Michigan. As a teenager she attended Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and also was awarded a local piano scholarship from the Warren Vivace Club to attend Interlochen Fine Arts Camp. Sheila also played the clarinet in her high school concert band and piano in the high school jazz band. Aside from early classical music, the music of Louis Moreau Gottschalk and Scott Joplin greatly influenced her as a pianist. In the early 1980’s, Sheila attended the University of Michigan as a piano performance major, studying performance, music theory, conducting and composing. Sheila has held staff pianist positions at local Detroit area churches from 1988‐2010, working with both choirs and bands, has performed on piano for weddings, has been the piano accompanist for high school and community theatre productions, and has been a piano accompanist for Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association solo and ensemble festivals for countless middle school and high school students.
