Sherrita C W Delacruz (Williams) is a native of Greensboro NC. She is gifted in spoken word and writing. Since the age of 8, Sherrita has utilized poetry and short stories to express and confess the joys and trials of her journey. She testifies of encouragement, love, and spiritual enlightenment in her prose on stage as well as her other artistic endeavors.
Sherrita recites whenever she can to be an inspiration to those within the sound of her voice. As of 2024, she has been reciting poetry on stage for 24 years. Sherrita has engaged audiences as a featured poet in and around the continental US, including the Augusta Arts Festival in 2019.
