Local to both Denver and Boulder, I don't just take photos; I craft images that are anything but ordinary. Combining the fine art of classic portraiture with artistic photojournalism, I create a visual story in a way you will always remember.
I don't just shoot guests smiling at the camera; I focus on the details that make your event special. I watch for those moments in between moments , like guests laughing at a hilarious story, or when the DJ bumps fists with the best man, or the moment when a child is chasing bubbles down the aisle. My photography will capture the true essence of your event!
From the moment Ezra sent us his proposal for our event, we could tell he was the photographer for us. And we were right. Ezra was so considerate and inventive in the way he captured pictures for my brother's Celebration of Life, which in and of itself is a difficult event to shoot, just by its very nature. But we set out not to have a somber event, to make it meaningful and as celebratory as possible, and Ezra went above and beyond to help capture that essence, which is so valuable to my brother's friends and family who were unable to attend the event. And from the few pictures we have seen while Ezra edits the rest, he got some beautiful shots. My brother, who was a photographer himself, would have been impressed. Ezra and his wife were phenomenal. We're excited to receive the digitals for our clients. I would highly recommend them. They treated our guests with respect and were attentive to needs throughout the party. They were hired for portrait photography of families/kiddos with Santa, and to wander the party room for candid shots. This could be hard to balance, but they were awesome. Would use again!
I hired Ezra to take headshots and group photos at a company meeting. He was a pleasure to work with. After booking Ezra we talked about the event and he took the time to actually create a schedule for headshots based on my meeting agenda. In addition, he was able to send me a suggested liability waiver and day of photo tips for me to send to attendees.
During the event, Ezra was on time with setup and he was very polite to myself and those he took photos of. He came with his own background and lighting equipment for the headshots. He took his time with each person making sure that he captured the right lighting and several different expressions and gestures. Ezra had a gap between headshots and he took it upon himself to use that time proactively and capture photos of our keynote speaker and a few crowd shots.
If we are in need of a photographer again we will be reaching out to Ezra.

I own and maintain a complete equipment list, as well as backup equipment "just in case". I am fully prepared for both indoor and outdoor shoots, and can work with anything from natural light to stage light. I also have a fully-equipped studio with backdrops and high-output strobes that can also be brought to your site for on-location portraits, headshots, and photo booth services.
I will dress to match your guests and/or other service providers, and will help to provide a professional, relaxed experience for you and team or event. I am also available to travel locally and throughout the country, depending on your need. (Please note that travel costs may be charged, depending on the distance and duration.)
