Celebrating 60 years of GREAT MUSIC...! The Beatles, British Invasion and the BEST of the 50's and 60s!
Very professional fantastic experience I would recommend any to hire them
We went to the matinee performance and had such a good time we came back for the evening show. The music and the staging were first rate and as a bassist back in the 60s I loved seeing Vox amps and Rickenbacker and Hoffner instruments all together in the same place after all these years. They only needed a Vox Continental keyboard to be perfect, though they had the colour right. At 75, the first time I waved my phone light! Great show, hope it comes back. PS: the percussionist stage right is a joy to watch - such a tuned-in performer!

SHOUT! The British Invasion celebrates BEATLEMANIA and the Greatest music of the 60’s. Performed by International Tribute Artist JEFF SCOTT and his band, this high energy show captures the spirit of the early 60's when Rock and Roll seemed new... all over again!
Jeff Scott entered the Tribute industry literally overnight.
It began with a phone call on a cold February afternoon. By the end of the conversation, Jeff was heading to Las Vegas to join the successful Kokomo Beach Band, a Beach Boys tribute band, where his love for 60’s pop would fit like a glove. Touring the US and Canada, the highlight of the trip would be a series of shows on the Vegas Strip, including The Sands, Aladdin, and Circus Circus.
It was at the Aladdin where folks first noticed Jeff’s resemblance to Buddy Holly and a segment was worked into the show. He was thrilled to have an opportunity to take centre stage. “Most impersonators dream of making it to Vegas” Jeff says, “I started there!!” Jeff’s energy in the role led to high profile opportunities with the Las Vegas production “Legends in Concert” performing in Atlantic City, Myrtle Beach, Miami, and Chicago. He would eventually see Australia and travel as far as Hong Kong.
He has shared the stage with such personalities as Sha Na Na’s Bowser, the Crystals (“Da Doo Ron Ron“), Joey Dee (“Peppermint Twist”) ‘Diamond’ Dave Sommerville (“Little Darlin’” “The Stroll”) and the "Duke of Earl" himself, Gene Chandler. However his favourite moment would have to be playing Farfisa organ for the legendary Sam the Sham as he performed the rock and roll classic “Woolly Bully”. In 2013, he found himself called on stage to sing backups for Mike Love and the Beach Boys singing “Surfin USA”
THE BUDDY RAY VONS are, like most groups from the 50’s and 60’s, at heart a vocal group. Taking the high vocals is drummer Guy Schryer recruited from Jeff’s Las Vegas days in Kokomo. Jeff and Guy have sung together for years, most notably in Canada’s Beach Party Band “Surf’s Up”.
As a freelance drummer, Guy has backed up everyone from Chubby Checker to Bobby (link hidden)pplying lead guitar and sharing lead vocals is Trevor Huggett.
A veteran of Canada’s music scene, Trevor has performed for “Legends In Concert” and Toronto’s original tribute show “Rock and Roll Heaven” as well as being a member of British Invasion originals, Billy J Kramer & the Dakotas. Rounding out the group on the Hofner bass is Shafton Thomas. An acclaimed jazz bassist and composer, The Shafton Thomas group is a regular fixture in Canada’s finer jazz (link hidden) fill in all those details,
The Buddy Ray Vons involve guest musicians whenever possible. Be it a piano part or a guest vocal, the atmosphere is one of open invitation and celebration. The accumulated years of experience are almost incalculable but it all adds up to a fun night of authentic Rock and Roll. Whatever the era!
