About
About Shradha
From nursing homes, labs, hospitals, tech companies, pharmaceutical companies– I’ve spent over 10 years getting to know individuals as patients, coworkers, employees and leaders. As the youngest hire in many of these areas, I would become the unofficial team lead, which even the managers began to recognize. Now, I am working with teams all around the world to support the development of tech companies.
In 2007, I would wake up every summer morning to volunteer with the elderly. Bringing them to their early morning exercises, then to breakfast and to the planned activities of the day. A lot of these people were not able to survive without support from another person and I was happy to my spend my summer learning, giving my time and kindness to them. As I moved forward, I continued to do the same in hospitals and eventually transitioned over to working in universities where I continued to see patients.
Why is this relevant?
These experiences taught me to listen, to care about these people who I had no relation with. At this point though, I was also an employee beginning to see that we were all working rigorously. However, we were all showing up for different reasons. We all had different stories that brought us to this one place. Our paths had aligned at this workplace. Thus, as strangers, we were all working together towards the same goal. Over time, this is how I developed the first objective of the workshop series.
Fast forwarding a few years, I have shifted into the tech space and have moved to a completely new place - new location, new life? I questioned myself on how to find my bearings. That's when I began waking up at 5 a.m. to begin my day. Little did I know, that the next step in my journey was about discipline and self-awareness. My next objective came to me.
In the day-to-day, acquiring the company goals is the focus while the individual might get lost in the hustle of it. You, as the employee, as the leader, as the manager, are the one making those actions happen, meeting those company goals.
With this, there is a need for understanding each employee to be able to reach their full potential.
