Arin specializes in teaching students and performing bellygrams. Any potential bellygram or teaching opportunity will be discussed at length so both Arin and the client will know what to expect from the event. Full contracts will be provided which will include all details of the event.
In 2002, Arin embarked on her study of SWANA/MENAHT dance (commonly called belly dance), which has been her main passion since structured dance education throughout her formative years. While she has always enjoyed diversifying her repertoire with elements of other dance styles (including everything from partner dancing to breakdancing to flow arts), her primary focus has been the culturally-rich dance forms of the last couple decades. Combining her past and present skills, she likes to continue to explore her hobbies and learn new skills to help elevate performances to the next level.
Arin is American, but has devoted training to increase her skills by attending workshops with master and local teachers, and performs with a variety of props (zills/Sagat, sword, basket, veil, Isis wings, fan veil, candles, tambourine, cane, whip, drums). She performs in both group and solo settings (Mosaic, bellygrams, restaurant/bar performances upon request) and also offers "Friends' Night In" mini classes for the perfect one-time experience.
Contract details will be finalized during conversations with the client and performer. Standard details are as follows:

This includes an environment free from harassment (sexual in nature or otherwise), including that no performer shall be touched (please see ‘Tipping’ in contract line 9). 3) If the client is providing the sound system, it must be tested prior to arrival. All performance music must be loud, as musical rhythms are unable to be heard otherwise.
4) Any special requests should be discussed in detail with Silk Road Studio – Peoria at the time of deposit/contract signing. This includes details for surprise events, birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings, as well as items like style of dance, colors/costuming, possible props, and audience participation.
5) Should the performer(s) be aware of any cultural or religious aspects that may require a specific music or costume selection? Please discuss this with Silk Road Studio – Peoria at the time of booking.
6) Final changes to performance attire should be discussed 48+ hours to the event date. Music, costuming, and props are selected specifically for your performance and last-minute changes cannot be made prior to the start of the performance.
7) A suitable (private) changing area with window coverings is required for the performer(s). NO VIDEO CAMERAS ALLOWED.
