My clown lineage is Tom Foote (community clown/Flint) and André Brassard (fancy theatre/Montreal).
Iâve had the pleasure of joining several Twitter spaces hosted by this individual, and I must say, he has a remarkable ability to read a room and set a pretty perfect tone for each of the conversations Iâve had the opportunity to join in on.
He not only knows how to create an atmosphere thatâs interesting and engaging, but itâs obvious that heâs passionate about improving and investing in the communities he interludes himself into.
With his ability to apply diverse knowledge and his wide array of unique skill sets, if youâre seeking someone to help you transform and cultivate a positive, inspiring and fun experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend him.
Bud is one of those rare entertainers whoâs also a true artist. Or maybe heâs an artist with a knack for enthusiastic performance. (An enthusiastic performer who also cares passionately to entertain??) You get the point - this guy knows his craft, does it well, and can connect with audiences of ALL ages.
He also has great range. I had the good fortune to meet him under circumstances having nothing to do with him as an entertainer (heâs an inspired and inspiring permaculture advocate too!), and was immediately impressed by his thoughtfulness, ease, kindness, and generosity. Oh, AND heâs funnyâŠso I wasnât exactly surprised when he mentioned that heâs also a clown! (Performer? Artist?? You get the point.)
Since meeting Bud, Iâve also enjoyed interacting with him and seeing others respond to his energy. The Twitter Spaces he hosts (both the more SFW, and slightly significantly more NSFW ones), are FAR better for his participation and guidance.
I could go on, but Iâm running out of good adjectives. Suffice to say that Bud isnât âmerelyâ a clown at all - heâs someone youâll VERY likely REALLY enjoy, and remember for all of the right reasons.
Silly Uncle Bud brings smiles and laughter to all the children who see him! They just light up with joy. He has a special way of making everyone laugh and smile.

Working alongside Silly Uncle Bud for ~3weeks in the ADK region in early Summer 2023 was a lifetime highlight. Seeing the magic, experiencing the energy, and hearing the giggles brought to faces of all ages - felt captivating. Silly Uncle Bud is the go-to Clown for engaging large crowds and lightening the space!
This character is playful; using bright, colorful and simple props. He increases the vibe of a crowd through play, imagination, and smile-inducing action!

We worked crowds of all sizes, in venues of app types. Silly Uncle Bud is versatile, appropriate, consistently aware: when he captures (âgot-em!â, from headline) ones attention - smiles, laughs, and magic are sure to follow.
In my experience there were instances where a handful of folks didnt jive with his antics, without missing a beat - he switches modes and sends a heartfelt, soothing (monk) chant - their way, blessing them with positive vibes as they continue their journey.
At a kids camp, our first event together; I dressed up as a Swamp/Moss Monster and the kids had a blast being part of the action. Silly Uncle Bud and I engaged in an unforgettable adventure as the kids created an imaginary world.
Being able to elicit laugh, play, and smiles from children of all backgrounds is a strength Silly Uncle Bud brings to the moment.
By the way, I witnessed him engaging with children in English, French, and Spanish!

I have always had a smile on my face when watching Silly Uncle Bud perform, his playfulness really makes kids of all ages giggle (adults who feel like a kid at heart, too!). His positive message to teach children about eating healthy is a wonderful inspiration of what impact can be had from a unique circus show!
The most gentle and fun clown to be around! I recommend him dearly! Children and animals love him too.
He use to hold evening get togethers for Flintopia and I would bring my son Phoenix when we attended. We'd usually do games, video and old fashioned board games, face painting. Phoenix always had a good time. Also great with animals. Happy he found another way to give back to the community through clowning and entertainment.
Silly Uncle Bud brings smiles to all internationally. The virtues and values Sillt Uncle Bud has is truly inspiring. He brings laughter and joy to hearts. I would love to have Silly Uncle Bud come perform for not only children's party events but we adults like a good laugh too. What a delight to come around the corner and meet eyes with this sweet endearing clown! His personality shines through to even the most brief encounter. He was able to make connections with everyone on the sidewalk of the busy downtown streets of Apex during my Art exhibit opening at the Halle cultural arts center. Folks who didnât plan on stopping in found themselves looking and talking to this clown to find out what was happening! Children whoâd likely never entered an art gallery were excited to see what Silly Uncle Bud was so excited about!
Silly Uncle Bob has a way of keeping kids engaged, laughing and exploring clowning themselves through play. My children loved him. We canât wait to have him back.
