Simone Belly Dancing

What can you expect from a Simone Belly Dancing performance? You and your audience can expect to highly entertained. Simone often interacts with her audience creating wonderful memories. She performs her dances to traditional music and a personal interpretation of both the song and the dance. Your guests will leave the show, ENCHANTED.
Simone Belly Dancing will work closely with potential clients, event planners, and organizers to craft a performance that will be unique, unforgettable, and exciting. Simone Belly Dancing can coordinate sound, music, ambience, etc. with the clients technical staff, or we can arrange for those services as part of our package. We can create single set (15 minutes) or a full night (one set per hour with at least 30 minutes in between) to make your event magical.
Performance Requirements:
Simone Belly Dancing will require a dressing room to use in pre-show preparation as well as any costume changes that may be part of the show. Simone Belly Dancing will bring her Personal Assistant and her Business Manager to all events.
Tipping is encouraged during the performances. The proper, traditional way to tip the performer is to either sprinkle the money over the head ("Make it Rain") while she is dancing, or, to lay the money on the ground at her feet. *All tips remain the performers.
Simone Belly Dancing will charge a base Travel Fee of 75.00 round trip for shows within 50 miles of Jacksonville. If longer distances or shows that are late in the evening the Travel Fee will be negotiated and fixed in advance. These negotiated Travel Fees may include overnight accommodations if the hour of performance requires it.
With the Planners consent and as negotiated, Simone Belly Dancing may bring extra staff such as, a Videographer, A Musician, A DJ, etc.

Simone, “The Arabian Princess” is an international performer in Raqs-Sharqi, the Oriental Dance of the East, known in the West as “belly dancing”. She is very well respected and recognized Artist, distinguishing herself from other dancers in her history of performing the dance.
Residing in Jacksonville, FL, Simone was born and raised in Lebanon. Her first memory as a child is dancing. She began learning Raqs-Sharqi at an early age. Her faithful devotion to this form of Art resulted in several TV appearances like the Oscar award-winning Discovery Channel documentary “Spies in Washington”, portraying the famous belly dancer Mata Hari.
Simone has been showcased in several television interviews and performances as well as local newspapers and magazines. Simone has also performed at Carnival Cruise Line, the Manhattan Short Film Festival, the Egyptian Exhibit at the Cummer Museum, The Festival of the Nile, The world of Nations Festival, and many social events, charities, and various functions.
Simone’s sterling reputation and unsurpassed talent led her to teach belly dancing at Florida community college of Jacksonville (Currently, known as FSCJ) for over nine years. Furthermore, her love for the Art of Raqs-Sharqi lead her in 2006 to open the first and only Belly Dancing Studio in Jacksonville at that time. The studio was dedicated to teaching only Belly Dancing classes.
Simone is currently working on a new production showcasing the history of Raqs-Sharqi. Her unique theatrical performances will take the audience on a mystical and mesmerizing journey of dance through thousands of years. Simone’s distinctive dances are personal interpretation of the traditional stories of the Pharaonic Era, the Dances of the Sultans (1001 Nights), and the Seven Veils dance.
Regardless of which style is performed, the mysteries of Raqs-Sharqi are unveiled as Simone presents the audience with an enchanting and unforgettable experience.
