Simply In Time is a Funk/Rock Party! The Simply In Time show can be 100% designed around your theme. From a full on funk/rock party to a lighter, more subdued experience, we will work with you to make your event unforgettable!
Simply In Time was formed by Robb Hughes, Eric Nollett, and Steve Boersma out of a horn driven band they met in. The original purpose was to create and play our own instrumental versions of some popular music spanning genres from funk to rock to pop and dance for some small venues, open mics, and event background entertainment. When Jake Oakey was introduced to the band, he came with a catalog of original songs that he had written and performed back in Colorado. Let's just say, adding his vocals, guitar skills, and incredible ability to write music made our goals change overnight! Simply In Time officially came into existence in the summer of 2022. Kendra DeVrou joined the band in early 2023 bringing amazing lead and backing vocal layers that completed and filled our vision. From a four song open mic debut at The Park Theater in July 2022, we have become a sought after band for West Michigan venues. With our "party set" now in-place, we are currently working on our first release of original music in 2024.
Simply In Time is a 4-6 piece band. We will need enough space to comfortably set up our instruments and gear. We can provide our own sound system to run from the stage area and lights for the band and dance floor if needed. We can also contract a local sound company to add a full, larger system depending on your space needs.

Amy W. said “Very good voices, energetic, great song choices. Danced to most of the songs, although they could throw in a waltz or two.”
