We're Simplé! Hailing from Toronto, we're influenced by the many sounds from around the world that have filled our lives and would love to be a part of yours. We set loved music and new music in a Simplé experience: globalized and intimate; complex and inviting. Whether it's your favourite song in an acoustic setting with jazzy, Latin, R&B elements, songs from Asia played with South American instruments, a warm bossa nova or bolero, or a full sound that gets your audience dancing and singing along, we make music that every listener can connect to.

The four of us, Malou, Alaina, Matt, and Kevin, have played together in several different settings. We take our artistic influences and professional experiences from all of these areas into our work with Simplé. We've played in pop and Top 40 bands with gigs around the city, Brazilian percussion groups that have opened for big names like Dudu Nobre and Grupo Revelecão, in city pop and metal bands that have performed in iconic Toronto venues and across North America, for wedding and liturgical ceremonies, in R&B/pop production projects, in small jazz ensembles, as DJs; the list goes on. Rest assured that we can help you cover the context you need music in.

Do you love a particular pop song but want to hear in an acoustic, jazzy setting? Do you love R&B, jazz, bossa nova, pop, or all of the above? Do you want sounds with influences from around the globe? Looking for a great live performance to get your party going? That's what we love. We've got you.

Our core group comes as a two to four piece, with guitar, bass, piano, and various percussion setups, but we also add on with some of our amazing friends to expand the sound for big events that need a few more layers to get things rolling.

Our technical and collaborative experience helps us in direct communication with other vendors and coordinators to make your job easier. If your audio/video companies need technical specifications or if coordinators need to communicate the details of the program, we’re happy to figure that out for you.

We will bring our instruments for the event, and can arrange to bring a PA system and additional sundries if you need it! As long as you can supply us with power and possible shelter if the weather isn't looking too great, we've got the rest.
