We used Sister Act Party Planning to hire waitstaff for our daughter’s wedding! They were super fast at responding to me, answering all of my questions and getting my crew and date secured. Day of wedding The staff showed up promptly and dressed to impress! Black pants & best with white shirts and black bowties. But more than that, they were very kind, professional, and serious about their jobs at such an important occasion. They knew what to do with little instruction and without any prompting. Doug, our waitstaff person from Sister Act, was great. We had a large crowd and he was able to run the kitchen and keep he food table well stocked. He needed little supervision and made our hosting so much easier. Thank you Doug. We will difinitely ask for you next year, Dec. 30th 2023.

I wanted this to be a great experience but it wasn’t. During the inquiry process details of need and expectancies were clearly expressed. After booking I did not receive a call to go over details. I called 2 days in a row to acquire some form of preparation discussion. When I finally received a call it was rushed and Mark was confusing my event with another event. The staff was slow in getting food out, served inconsistent temperature food, rationed food even though we had enough food to feed an army, got upset with my guests, did not serve all tables, did not serve all tables apple cider (all they had to do was put the bottles on the tables), stopped the vegans from getting a full meal by declining them food (where did they get that from?), refused help when my friends and family asked to help them due to the poor service being rendered, took pans of food home before being offered and had the nerve to complain about my guests to me as if they were not in the wrong. I wish this was a different review but I can only state what happened at my function. Moving forward I would strongly encourage a pre-event call that is not rushed where details are fully discussed and expectations laid out and hammered out so that there is no confusion or room for this level of disappointment. I ended up wasting so much food because they were not serving it. Such a waste of resources and time because they did not perform well.

I recently hosted a retirement party for about 20 guests. There was some miscommunication on my part as to what I assistance I was needing. When he arrived and I explained what I needed help with he eagerly jumped in and helped me get the everything prepared and set up. Not sure what I would have done without his assistance. I will certainly be reaching out to him again.

Mark is incredibly professional and efficient. I hosted a dinner party for 10 people with 10 courses and 7 wine pairings. Mark kept moving the whole time. Polishing wine glasses. Bringing out food. Opening wine. Filling wine glasses. Clearing plates. Scraping plates. Cleaning plates. He was in constant movement the whole time while keeping an impeccable manner and fluid movement. Excellent!!!

The bartender really made the difference for our wedding. He was knowledgeable when it came to drink mixing, kind, and it helped free my husband and I from worrying about weather guests had drinks or were drinking too much. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone planning to serve a bar at a large family event!

Sister Act Party Planning was such a breath of fresh air at the wedding last weekend in Oklahoma. The team of three arrived on time, with great attitudes, and dress very nicely. They immediately got to work on their assignments, and followed directions perfectly. You could tell they were seasoned servers with a lot of experience. Two servers were in charge of the buffet and one for the bar. The three servers were great with the food, warmed it up on time and kept the chaffing dishes full at all times. They had smiles on their faces always too! Once their direction was given, they asked little questions after too, and as a planner this is a huge time saver for me! They also cleaned every dish and glass used, even when they weren't asked to. They went above and beyond what was asked from them and made a huge impression on our guests. I had many guests ask "How many servers are here?!" They thought there were 5-7 servers there and there was really only 3. That is the KEY to being a great server- Multiply while staying invisible! The bar tender was also wonderful! He kept good conversations with the guests, made sure the trash was picked up around the bar area (which we didn't even ask him to do) and he made sure everyone had drinks refilled. The entire team was wonderful and worked very hard. They also never asked to eat dinner or to leave early- both of which they were able to do, but the fact that they never asked was great. They never stopped moving or working left a huge impression on me. I will be using them again in the future and closer to Dallas too! :-) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
