Sitar Power - World Beat, Raga Rock, Raga Jazz!

From a Trio to a 7 piece band, Sitar Power is a very unique sound that brings together the cultures of India and the West in a very beautiful way. The compositions are spontaneous and thrilling to hear and watch. All band members are some of the most highly regarded musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area. The band can play up to two sets of about 45 mins each. They like to take a 15 min or more break in between sets. For proper visuals, it is recommended that the venue provide a stage and a good quality sound system. Be ready for a high energy and exciting time. Before booking him, it is best to state what sort of a show you want and what size group you want to have at your party. In most cases, Ashwin will try and work within your budget.
