We are a duo based in South Central Pennsylvania. Mike is a mandolinist and citternist trained in the folk tradition from Franklin county. Danielle is a classical, conservatory trained cellist from Adams county. Together we make up Sitka Hollow Strings, bridging each other's musical interests and backgrounds! We are available for weddings, parties, restaurants, festivals, recitals, and much more. We play a wide range of music from folk/ Old Time to avant garde, classical to bluegrass. Mike also performs as a historical storyteller and strolling minstrel, specializing in tales and songs of the Pennsylvania Germans.
