I’ve been making partygoers smile with my caricatures for over 10 years. My drawings are fun and cute. They come on 11”x17” card stock with clear plastic sleeves. About 5 minutes per face.
Sketch Monkey was so great! I have seen other caricature artists before and Sketch Monkey is the best I have seen. His sketches actually look like the people the are of! He not only arrived on time, but he was early. I would highly recommend Sketch Monkey!

Live caricature is more than just drawing funny pictures. It's a live performance where the people getting drawn are the stars. I banter with my subjects and tease out personal details and work them into my drawings. Excitement builds as onlookers snicker at the drawing and the stars wait eagerly to see. The climax of the performance is the big reveal.
An art school graduate, teaching was my fall-back job for a few years. I started drawing caricatures as a side job but found that I was really good at it. I've always had a knack for drawing faces and I like to make people laugh. There a few different schools of thought on caricature in the business. My view is that caricature is like insult comedy. People are looking to be made fun of a little when they get one. I like to poke fun at my subjects and people really enjoy what I do.
