Skyline Hotel infuses pop/rock with the guitar driven sounds of the ‘70s and sensitive, emotion-laden feel of the ‘90s. The brothers have performed at The 9:30 Club and The National Mall and shared the stage with national acts including Echo & The Bunnymen, Zella Day, Hippo Campus, and Kitten. They’re endorsed by DR Strings, remarked as "a perfect pop set-up" by No Depression and “incredibly brilliant...could be played on any radio station across the world” by Stencil Magazine, noted as having “serious pop sensibilities” by the 9:30 Club, and were nominated for “Up-and-Coming Band of the Year” in 2014 by Barebones Entertainment.

Like the landmark from which the band takes its name, Washington, DC's Skyline Hotel has always tried to embody one thing: escapism. What originated as a personal therapeutic project for singer Jon Lee to deal with his adversity became a set of songs his brother and lead guitarist/producer Jeff Lee empathized strongly with and could not ignore. From bedroom demos to local clubs, the brothers began to cultivate a modern blend of pop and rock that was as fun as it was vital. Expanding to include organist/bassist Zack Be and veteran drummer Alan Slimak, the band has become a full blown pop/rock powerhouse. With two EPs under its belt - including 2016's Sparks of Light - and a constant gigging schedule that has found the band performing at The 9:30 Club and The National Mall and sharing the stage with nationally and internationally touring acts such as Echo & the Bunnymen, Zella Day, Hippo Campus, and Kitten, this songwriting quartet is only just hitting its stride. Still, Skyline Hotel is, at its core, just four musicians charting an escape from the realities of everyday life, seeking what only music can deliver.
