Smoke Holler is an old-time string band that plays fiddle tunes with a fiddle (violin), mandolin, and guitar. We also can include a banjo player and an upright bass player. We play good-time party music that can be acoustic or amplified depending on the environment. We can call square dances and be the center of attention for performances or discreet background music for your event. We are flexible! But definitely expect a good time. We can sing old country songs as well and old-time music is adjacent to bluegrass and is an original American folk music.
