Kind, professional and great communication from the beginning. We knew Grover would be perfect for our wedding shower but his talent exceeded all expectations!
Grover was given a specific playlist and accommodated every request. Wonderful and kind personality and respectful of our budget. Would book him again for any and all events!
Grover did an absolutely amazing job playing at my wedding shower on 10-29-23. We had about 40 guests attend and practically everyone there made comments about how great and talented he was! Most communication with him was done through my mother but the communication I had with him was pleasant as he responded quickly and was very helpful. He performed mainly Beatles tunes and by the end of the night received the title of the 5th Beatle! Overall, we were all very pleased with Grover and HIGHLY recommend him for any and every event!

Thank you, Bailey! Best wishes to you and Nic!
Grover was very kind and flexible. Everyone loved his voice and guitar skills. He can play anything!! He preformed at my sisters bridal shower and he kept the party going. The genre of the shower was the Beatles. His voice and guitar fit PERFECTLY with the theme. He is very nice and the guests loved him. Would 100% hire again!

Gig Length: 60 - 240 minutes
What to Expect
I mix it up, with vocals and guitar, looping, and self-made tracks, with a variety of classic standards, blues, country and a taste of jazz. I personalize my sets to create the mood, moving from up-tempo songs to instrumentals to ballads, depending on what the event planner is looking for. I provide professional equipment and behavior, make sure folks can talk over the music and, above all, make sure that everyone has a great time.
About
I was shy growing up, but playing music helped me connect with people more easily. I moved from Mobile to Birmingham in 1985 as a Physical Therapist, growing with my family and playing music locally. I love entertaining people for corporate and private parties - especially weddings! My two biggest events? entertaining a couple hundred folks for the BJCC VIP Lounge pre-shows for both Sir Elton John and the Eagles.
Go ahead, book me for your event and get ready to hear your raving guests!
Additional Booking Notes
I need ~ 8 x 8' performance area (including PA and lighting) with a grounded 120 V power receptacle. If playing outside, a tent is requested (I can bring my own). I like to take a 10 minute break after 90 minute performance. In the event of electrical storms, I turn electrical equipment off and will play acoustically until the storm has safely moved away.
