LaWanda was recently a Guitar Soloist onboard Carnival Cruise Line's Ship, Sunshine based out of Charleston, SC. She can provide live music as a Solo, Duo, or Band, Karaoke Hosting, Emcee/PA Services, Ambient Background Music, & Professional Photography. Music & photography are her passions! She is very dedicated doing what she loves and enjoys sharing that love with any audience no matter the size, setting or location. She is always very well received and offers a large variety of upbeat, well known music that appeals to all ages, with over 25 years of experience and a library of over 300 songs, to include well known soft & yacht rock, country and pop cover songs.

We were in need of a ukelele player for a Luau-themed Happy Hour and LaWanda came to the rescue on short notice. She arrived with plenty of time before the start of the event and put on a beautiful show for our community. Very talented and the set list was perfect for our demographic. We look forward to working with LaWanda again!

Lawanda was such a refreshing talent to have in our local Moose Lodge. We have been looking for new performers and Lawanda put on a fantastic performance, our members enjoyed her company so much! We will definitely be having her back again and again!

We recently contracted with LaWanda to play at one of our restaurants in Clearwater Florida for a Saturday afternoon. She greatly exceeded our expectations on every level! Her voice is amazing. Her song selection and interaction with our customers was spot on and she was the consummate professional. We will be using her again and may even make this a regular booking. What to Expect
I am a full-time musician and professional photographer. With regard to the music, I work with an extremely talented pool of musicians. As a solo musician, I sing and play several ukuleles, acoustic and electric guitars, with or without backing tracks, and take very minimal breaks, if any. I can provide you with a couple of different options as a Duo. And, depending on your specific needs, wants or budget, will determine what music services we may provide, which could be as a Solo, Duo, Trio or Full Band, DJ/Emcee/PA Services, and Karaoke Hosting. I'm also available for various photography needs.
No matter what services you are booking we will arrive on time ready to entertain. We have a great stage presence and care about our appearance. We are always respectful, friendly, professional and upbeat. We love what we do and we would love the opportunity to be a part of your event!

Howdy! I'm very new to this site but not to music or photography! My name is LaWanda Wilson and I'm a Solo Musician and founder of the "Soddy Daisy Band... aka Soddy Daisy Music".... which was established in 2015. I'm available as a Solo, Duo, Band and Karaoke Host. I have been a musician much of my adult life with over 25 years of experience under my belt. In addition to music, I'm also a professional photographer, and I am available for outdoor portraits and magazine/print work. I have been providing portrait and photography services since 2006 and a small part of my background includes working for a magazine in Savannah, Georgia, known as Chatham County Living. I shoot with a pro-grade Canon 5d Mark iv camera and L-Glass lenses. Please Note... For Florida residents reaching out to me, you will notice that I have a California cell number... I was born & raised in Florida, but resided in the Mt Shasta region of Northern California along the Oregon border for 6 years. I kept that number after living there as it was well established with my social media accounts, and was connected to my photography business, in addition to my music endeavors. I relocated back to Florida and to my small hometown roots of Zephyrhills in 2019.
Additional Booking Notes
For the music I provide a Bose PA and complete sound gear, as well as a portable power station for occasions when electricity may not be available. I have everything that I need in order to perform a gig for practically every setting.
With regard to my photography gear, I shoot with a Canon 5d Mark iv and L-Glass lenses.
