Hello! I am a professional, classically-trained violinist that strives to make your event and memorable moments alive with music. Being a violinist for over fifteen years, I have a wide range of performing experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral violinist, as well as a vast resume of repertoire. I provide a live, elegant, and classy touch to your special event whether it be a wedding, corporate engagement, birthday celebration, or private event.

Sofia Sednef is originally a Seattle-based musician and recent graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a BA in Music Performance. She began her studies in violin at age seven with Josef Bondar and piano at age nine with Marina Blunt, and later with Svetlana Riedel. Prior to her university studies, Sofia was a first violinist for the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association. In her last year of the youth orchestra program, she served as second violin principal and a violinist for one the association’s top string quartets. While studying at Seattle Pacific University, she studied violin with Ilkka Talvi and piano with Dainius Vaicekonis. She served as concertmaster for the SPU Orchestra and was an active violinist in multiple facets in of the music department, whether through performances, tutoring, collaborations, etc. In completing her BA in Music Performance, Sofia plans to pursue graduate studies in violin performance, working toward a career as a performer and instructor.
