Sol y Rumba was an incredible addition to our 15th Annual Columbia Heights Day. Super easy to coordinate with pre-event, showed up on-time and prepared, as well as putting on an amazing performance. Their vocals were great and got the whole crowd dancing with a variety of genres.

Sol y Rumba was a hit at our event! They arrived early to set up and test out their sound, was very flexible with our schedule and getting us access to their PA system, etc. The crowd enjoyed their enthusiasm and willing to engage the attendees. A pleasure to work with and most definitely will consider booking them again. The sound of percussion and acoustic was ideal.

Sol y Rumba offers multiple latin musical options. We offer latin band, mariachi, bolero trio, latin jazz trio, soloist, and dj services. With over 30 years of experience performing in the D.C., MD, VA area we can cater to any event you are needing our musical entertainment. For a small cocktail hour or engagement dinner our soloist musicians or 3-piece band are perfect to maintain a low foot print.
For larger events like weddings, galas, and festivals our 5-11 piece band are a great way to keep your guests entertained all day long!

Est. 1993, Sol y Rumba Band was created by Honduran singer-songwriter Maria Isolina. Our band is composed of some of the best latin musicians in the D.C. area. We've opened shows for comedian George Lopez, Barry Manilow, and have played for former President Barack Obamas inaugural ball. Our latin band is ready to play for your next fiesta!
