Something Borrowed, LLC

I came to the Denver area 3 years ago as a single mom of twin girls. We were looking for a new beginning and a new start after a stormy season. I ended up working for a large church as the Executive Assistant where I began organizing large events for the church. One day an African family walked in the doors looking for a turn key wedding reception event and asked if I would be willing to do it. I was scared to death- that's someone's biggest day of their life, but I decided to give it a try and BAM...I LOVED IT! Not long after that event, the man of MY dreams asked me to marry him and I quickly found out how expensive it is to get married. I saw how much of the focus had become the LOOK rather than the couple. As I was shopping for my own wedding dress, I got the idea of Something Borrowed, LLC and started my company. It didn't take long before my boss hired me to throw his daughter's Sweet 16 party, then my other boss hired me to throw his mom and dad's 50th anniversary, people began to spread the word and suddenly I'm hiring employees!

She did an amazing job with the backdrop, table and chair settings, flower arrangement, bouquet, and boutonnieres. We were really impressed with her work. What I do depends on what you need. I have table cloths, center pieces, lights, and more. I can help you find vendors for catering, Dj's, florists, and bakers and venues. I'm actually pretty good at flowers myself and have done bridal bouquets, boutoineers, and corsages for wedding parties. Two weeks ago, I designed and printed all of the programs for a wedding. I created timelines and can serve as a day of coordinator. I just love to help and serve. It's my heart's desire to help people know what they are worth and how valuable they are. Customer Service to the MAX!!!
I recently had a bride who lost her job in the middle of planning her wedding. I stepped in as her counselor. I've been through a lot in my life and I have overcome just as much! I am a cheerleader, a YES girl and see the good in every circumstance!
