Songbird is an acoustic duo from Bainbridge Island, Washington.
We play a very eclectic mix of folk, folk-pop, old rock standards and a bit of blues here and there. Our influences are varied and broad. From Gillian Welch, Dave Carter / Tracy Grammer, to Buddy Holly, Warren Zevon and Fleetwood Mac.
Our approach is to put our spin on our favorite songs with an ear to close, tight harmony. And fun! Always fun!
Just heard them at the opening of Bainbridge Island's Farmers Market. They stopped us in our tracks with their lyrical, tight musicianship and soulful singing voices. We'll look forward to hearing more from this wonderful acoustic duo.
