Hello! I am an aerial performer, working mainly in lyra (aerial hoop), aerial cube, aerial pole, as well as pole and lollipop (a lyra attached to a stage base) - also to an extent on aerial fabric and sling. As an owner of a pole and aerial studio, as well as a teacher, I have all of my own equipment (rigging, apparatuses), extensive safety knowledge, and am professional and prompt. I love performing, and I love teaching as well if a lesson or guided aerial photo booth is of interest! I work with a sliding scale and can cater to a budget, and if you need other skills or additional performers, I work with many others and am happy to help get you set up for your event.

As I train in many arts for many different contexts, I would prefer to have a conversation about what your event needs. As a professional performer my reputation is everything - if I can't meet your needs I will be forthcoming, and give you recommendations of others who can.
Given that, I have all of my own equipment, I will help coordinate timing and spacing as well as what is even an option based on size/type of venue. My style varies from more formal/ballet, to high speed and fun, to monstery. Most of my training is aerial, but I also have floor acts (chair acro, fire and LED flow in work), and have a stage-based apparatus which allows for a pole or lollipop (imagine a ~4' pole with a circle attached to the top) for an aerial performer feel without the need for large rigging setups. I have many costumes as well as several wigs and am happy to add to my costume collection for your performance. I can do my own makeup, and if a very complex/difficult makeup/bodypaint work is requested I have contacts that can help me get it done.
I generally see performances as falling into two types - one being a shorter choreographed piece. This is better for a short spotlight, for example if highlighting a song for a musical performance. I can choreograph to most any song to work and fit the theme needed. The other type is more ambient moving art in a way - these are longer sets (up to ~20 minutes per set) of moves that flow together but aren't designed to fit a particular song, just a particular mood. This for example is typical for a party/large event setting where I am keeping guests entertained but not a spotlight performance. I also (as mentioned above and in my bio) work with many performers, so if additional performers are needed I'm happy to help get together a great team for you.
I started taking classes more than 10 years ago while working full time as a process engineer for a local company. My background in ballet and in coaching martial arts transitioned well into training pole, aerials, acroyoga, and chair acro. I love the challenge and beauty of these arts, and dove in head first. I started performing and teaching in 2012 and in 2017 opened a movement studio with my business partner.
I train with performers of all kinds of arts and am always picking up something new. Currently I'm starting to train fire flow arts, and am working to increase my skills in fabrics (silks and sling/hammock). I have performed as everything from an innocent girl in the forest, to a gargoyle waking from sleep, to an ice queen released from a trance, to a demon ensnaring a victim. I can perform solo but also specialize in duo and trio work and have several duo partners I work with. If you need something specific that I can't offer, I am happy to find the right performer(s) and get them in touch with you!
I can provide all rigging equipment, if you would like me to use rigging that will already be available for the gig that works too - I will just need to gather pertinent information about it to make sure I can plan appropriately. Depending on the complexity of the rigging, I will need to gather event venue information (mainly measurements of available space). As for lighting and sound, I can work with what you have, and I can also help suggest various options if you like. Communication is very important for a successful gig, so I will make sure to be available and responsive throughout planning and coordinating.
I have worked with high end music festivals and small home parties - if there is an existing set up I need to work with I am happy to do so, if you want help answering all of the questions about performances at an event I'm happy to help there too :)
Of course all young aerialists are inspired by travelling circus acts - a big one for me was Cirque du Soleil. Much of my inspiration though now comes from my community - the amazing people I see work hard and become magical performers. Depending on the act type I try to pull from whatever inspiration I can. To be perfectly honest, my ice queen act pulled a little inspiration from Frozen :D
This varies by performance and is largely dependent upon your wants and needs! I can provide all needed gear.
