I'm a Singer/Guitarist with a very wide/unique vocal range who generally performs solo or with light percussion. I can be the Main Entertainment or just Background Music for a lighter fare. So excited to share this review of Sonny Ray Ramos. He played for our 30-year high school reunion recently, and he was the epitome of great entertainment, professionalism and class. He engaged with me beforehand and communicated clearly about expectations and setup, and he was so kind and collaborative. Onsite, he arrived well in advance and had everything set up perfectly and was playing as guests arrived. He sounded awesome and he played for a really long time. I expected him to do three "sets" but he pretty much just played for three hours straight! That's some stamina and was not expected but we loved it. The acoustics in our space were challenging because it was a small space with a lot of echo and us "old folks" were trying to talk. Sonny was so accommodating in keeping the volume down but still entertaining the whole time. To me, perhaps most importantly, he is a true professional and just so kind. I loved his presence and overall vibe - he's a joy to be around. The selections he played were ideal for our crowd and he sounded great the whole time. I would definitely hire him again and I would highly recommend him to others.

Aaaw, you're the sweetest! I had an incredible time and everyone was sooo generous. I had alot of compliments and great conversations with a few folks. Sonny did a great job performing at my 40th birthday party! He showed up early to set up, played awesome and diverse music, took requests and was the centerpiece of the party. My guests raved about him. I would highly recommend Sonny! Great performer and a great guy!

I’ve used Sonny Ray Ramos for several of my events and he was always punctual and great with the crowd, very flexible with a set list and could change it on a fly to meet someone’s request . I highly recommend him .

My wife, Nikki, and I saw Sonny play last summer and loved singing along to all his tunes. We followed him a bit over the year and were thrilled to have him play at our wedding during cocktails and dinner this past weekend. Sonny is truly a one-man-band as he records and then loops a rhythm section prior to playing and singing over top of it. It's pretty unique and really adds a level to his music. We LOVED Sonny and he even stuck around and played some tunes around the bonfire with me and a few buddies providing some backup percussion. He’s just a good dude. Sonny performed at our deck party for 35 people. He was great. Played a nice mix of music, had a great voice and wasn't too loud. Our guests really enjoyed the music and one of our friends has expressed interest in hiring him

My husband and I held a deck party at our home on Memorial Day weekend. We hired Sonny to play. He was a terrific musician, played a great variety of music and was very accommodating in working with us to play the type of music we wanted. Our guests were very impressed and expressed how much they enjoyed the music. We will definitely hire Sonny again. It made a huge difference in our party.

Sonny played lead for Das Rhein at the Big Kahuna several times in the late 90's, the big club that started it all on the Wilmington waterfront. The acoustics there were tough for any band, but these guys could really fill the place up with a rockin heavy sound. I always had a blast at these shows because that band could definitely get the girls up dancin.

We had Sonny do a Birthday Party for my Husband's 60th Birthday. He also did a 30th Birthday for our Daughter. He also did 2 of our annual bonfires, one last October and again this October. He is always willing to take requests, his acoustics are great and he has a wonderful voice.. I would without hesitation highly recommend him. You can't go wrong with him. Sonny is also very good-looking and a very sweet person to all. If I were you and you have some kind of party/celebration, I'm telling you, you will not be dissappointed!!!

I love what I do and I love to grab my listeners and take them on a trip with my music. I think the selections are all relative to the crowd, the age group, the setting and the Vibe. I can communicate and interact with any type of crowd because I think I have experienced a broader view of the world being an Army Brat, being born in Germany ,traveled Europe the States and Central America and being Native American I have the ability to tap into the spiritual side of music and how it moves you. I can be the Center of attention or just the Background music and I can adjust it all on the fly and under pressure without a hitch. I perform with a Loop Station that allows me to add percussive beats and record rhythms live to Sing and Solo on top of it all which creates a full band sound with just one man and one guitar.
