My husband and I had been having a tough week and decided to go out to see some open Mic performers hoping to just relax and enjoy some quality music. We could not have picked a better night to do this.
Sophie blessed our eardrums with a sound so smooth and sweet, I swear I could almost taste golden honey dripping on my tongue. The golden notes slowly poured down through the rest of my body as all the stress and pain from the past week slowly dissolved into nothingness. All that was left was a feeling of bliss and euphoria I didn’t think possible.
Needless to say, I will be seeing Sophie preform again as soon as possible.

Sophie London is a Boston-based singer-songwriter. Her passion is writing and performing songs that highlight her vocals, harmonic abilities, and guitar work. Classically trained as a violinist, Sophie brings many influences to her music. Her melodic sound has been compared to Sheryl Crow and Shawn Colvin. Sophie credits one of her musical heroes, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, for influencing her unique arrangements and musical energy.
Sophie's up-tempo song "Get It Right" was featured on the nationally-broadcast reality show "Plain Jane," airing on the CW network. She performs regularly at Boston-area events, and has developed a strong fan base. Sophie continues to write and record new music, and hopes to release another CD in the near future.
