Originally from Queens, NY, light lyric/coloratura soprano Vanessa Rodriguez, holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of South Florida.

Kicking off 2020, Ms. Rodriguez was thrilled to have performed a recital honoring God, her parents and her heritage as the first Guest Artist of the year in the College of Arts and Letters
Recital Series at the University of Tampa Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values. Another highlight for the start of the new year was performing the role of Frasquita in Carmen with Opera Tampa.
