Soul Kitchen is acoustic-infused musical alchemy, blending and transcending the genres of Soul, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Zydeco, and Middle Eastern influences. The soaring, soulful vocals of award-winning lead singer Tempa (Best Colorado Blues Band, Best Soul Album Award) and sweetly exotic rhythms of guitarist Naor (Israeli Idol musical finalist) transport listeners to new realms of feeling and musical enjoyment. Impeccable multi-part harmonies and inspired interplay among the violin, saxophone, piano, upright bass, and Cuban "cajón" drum complete the sublime flavor — making this band an essential Maui experience for the musical senses!

For the past ten years Soul Kitchen has been on fire on the Maui music scene, attracting a large and enthusiastic following at venues all over the island. Soul Kitchen has opened for well-known acts such as Tower of Power and WAR, and has performed onstage together with rock-drummer icon Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac fame! Soul Kitchen has performed at numerous weddings, corporate events and private functions on all parts of the island.
