Rick Henson's Soul Tide is a soul & funk band based out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Rick Henson; the bands founder, decided to start his own group after years of experience playing with other bands. Through this decision Soul Tide was born. Soul Tide consists of Rick Henson on bass and lead vocals, Chris Jackson on drums & backing vocals, Ben Carrasquillo on trombone & vocals, and John Holaway on guitar and vocals. Many times you'll catch Soul Tide with another one of their very talented horn players or horn sections including: Rob Alley (Trumpet), Nicholas Boyd (Saxophone), Chad Fisher (Trombone), or Kris Bitten (Saxophone).
