My musicians and I have played everything from clubs and colleges to community centers and churches. We've also played with the likes of Justin Bieber, Sean Kingston, J. Lo, Stevie Wonder, Big K.R.I.T, Yo Gotti, Lyfe Jennings, K. Michelle and MANY more... We tailor every performance to the buyer's request. We have our own DJs, musicians, vocalist, PA system, and sound engineer that is included in the price.

Steven “Soulman” Snipes is a multi-talented writer, producer, and song writer that hails from Memphis, TN. Snipes is a trailblazer on the Memphis music scene and is most notably known for expanding the definition and sound of Memphis Hip hop with what he has aptly titled, “hip hop soul”. One of the first Memphis hip hop performers to routinely include live instrumentation in his show; Snipes and his entertainment company, Sophisticated Lifestyles, has earned a sizeable following and stunning list of accomplishments.
Snipes and company have performed alongside artists such as Trey Songz, Big K.R.I.T. , K. Michelle and Lyfe Jennings. In 2012, Snipes was the BET Apollo Live competition winner which earned him national recognition and numerous radio and tv show appearances. Snipes also received song placement on the So So Def 20 year anniversary mixtape. His accomplishments and distinguished reputation in the entertainment genre, has earned him a spot on the lecture circuit and provided him the privilege of being a key-note speaker at Northside High School, Strayer University, and the University of Memphis. In addition, Snipes was one of the first artists chosen to participate in the Memphis Musictown Consortium (MMT) and as a result, received direct mentorship from legendary singer/songwriter, David Porter.
Snipes has released two full length albums to notable, critical acclaim. A distinctly, original talent; Snipes’ music combines relatable topics, strong lyrical content and a soulful production that showcases the evolution of hip-hop while at the same time, emphasizes hip hop’s roots in barrier-breaking innovation.
Snipes is currently in preparation for his upcoming album release, scheduled for March 28th. Destined to be a classic, this album was created in conjunction with King Pin Da Composer, who has recently been nominated as the SCM awards “producer of the year. Snipes’ new music emphasizes a new set of struggles and triumphs and highlights his transition from an angst filled young adult to a fully grown man striving to make his dreams a reality. KingPin; a master beat technician known for his melding of soulful samples and instrumentation with progressive hip-hop beats, is the perfect complement to Snipes’ signature laid back, r&b and soul infused style.
We travel in packages with as few as 3 musicians to 14! Depending on the event, we would need sufficient electrical outlets to plug in instruments, amps, ect...
