Overview
My name is Concetta Abbate. I'm a classically trained violinist who crosses genres of folk, jazz and popular music to create unique musical experiences for a variety of events! I'm also a trained singer and hold a unique skill of both singing and playing violin. I have more than a decade of experience performing in the NYC Metro region as a soloist at venues such as American Folk Art Museum, Rubin Art Museum and Sheen Center for Performing Arts. As a composer and arranger I create elegant arrangements of popular songs that are tailored to your musical preferences. I also work with a variety of musicians to create larger chamber ensembles for events.

Thank you so much Jon! It was an honor and privilege to play for this event.
I used Concetta for my proposal and she was great. I had a couple of songs I wanted played but left it to her to fill in the gaps and she did it perfectly. Concetta was super friendly and very communicative. My fiancé loved the whole experience. Thanks Concetta!

Congratulations again! Such a pleasure to be a part of this special event 🎻
I needed a violin/viola player to record the string parts on several of my recordings. I asked around on Facebook and I was recommended Concetta by several local musicians. She was such a pleasure to work with and came to the session on time and prepared. I was amazed that she nailed every part in one or two takes, and even took time to improve the parts by adding extra layers. Her love for music is infectious and I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking to collaborate on a musical project.

I'm from the UK and contacted Concetta as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend. I asked Concetta performed Bygone Days from the Porco Rosso soundtrack. In the days leading up to the performance, she had really helpful suggestions on how to really make an impact with the performance. On the day itself, she arrived early was super friendly. The performance itself was absolutely beautiful. Everyone loved it! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a violinist. Many thanks Concetta!

Meeting Concetta was a delight. Her performance was excellent, and she delivered on every detail we discussed. I highly recommend her for any corporate event, parties, or celebrations. Or perhaps to enjoy one of her many ensembles happening in the tri-state area. Thanks Again Concetta for a wonderful experience!
