Sparkle Body Art

We offer fantasy face painting, freehand henna and fairy hair in a magical and compassionate environment. Sparkle crew members are experienced and professional, we pride ourselves not only on our artwork, but on our contribution to your event. We will do our best to make the experience memorable and special for each guest. We do not use a menu book but will create something special for each client. We don't do "factory face paint" so we try to allow 5 minutes per guest. If you have decision fatigue or don't know where to begin, we will begin by asking "Do you want to be pretty or scary?" and work from there. We work well as a team and can handle many types of events, from small private parties to large gatherings and vendor situations. We love people, we can work with special needs to some extent; please call Stephanie if you have a special needs situation.

I have a long and varied background that includes not only a broad spectrum of art but also a lot of working with the public. I consider myself an entertainer...having me at a party makes it an event. Having me at an event helps to make it unforgettable. I work in costume...which varies but generally comes across as kind of gypsy...my 10 x 10 tent is multicolored patchwork with bright flags and is very visible and pretty. I also have a similarly styled market umbrella for smaller venues. For larger events like bar mitzvahs or weddings or benefits I can bring an assistant to tie fairy hair and speed up the process. For very large venues (festivals, etc) I can bring a booth manager as well...even a sideshow girl to help entertain the line. Generally if there is a big crowd we will paint numbers on the customers to manage the flow. I am very good under pressure...and manage to keep the focus on the customer in my chair to ensure they have a wonderful experience. Body art is the perfect souvenir of your event!
