Special Event Pianist - Akron

Music has always played a large role in my life. I have a Bachelor degree in Music Education and Voice from the University of Akron. I have also completed the coursework for a Masters Degree in Choral Conducting from the same school. During all four years of high school, I was the accompanist for my school’s choirs and soloists. While at the University of Akron, I accompanied several students for their semester hearings and juries. I have been a member of the semi professional choir Singers Companye for over ten years under the direction of Dr. Samuel Gordon. This group performs in Akron and Cleveland as well as internationally. I am a paid vocal soloist and substitute pianist at the Church of the Western Reserve in Pepper Pike under the direction of Alexandre Marr. I have been a member of the Cabaret Project cast for the past two years, performing at Blu Jazz in Akron and Night Town in Cleveland under the direction of Alexandre Marr and Merissa Coleman.
