The Spectacle Brass Quintet put on an amazing show at my Eagle Scout ceremony and did an outstanding job! I could not of hired a better group to play and the group made the ceremony something I will never forget!
Response from Spectacle Brass:
Thank you for having us, Joe! It was an honor to celebrate your accomplishment with you!
An absolutely incredible group! I've had a number of brass quintets at events before, specifically at weddings that I plan, and Spectacle Brass was by far the most responsive and exciting one yet. They work one-on-one with you to select music, and they even offered the opportunity to attend one of their rehearsals. Highly recommended!!

Comprising five professionally trained musicians, Spectacle Brass grew from inspiration to bring exciting and innovative music to communities around the globe. With a common goal of breaking down the barriers often surrounding classical and contemporary music, the group has traveled extensively around the United States, performing a wide variety of programs for countless audiences.
During early development, Spectacle was a finalist in the Calvin Smith Brass Quintet Competition in Knoxville, Tennessee and received a prestigious invitation to perform at the annual Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference in Savannah, Georgia. The group opened for the renowned Boston Brass during the 2013 Crested Butte Music Festival, a collaboration that was a significant part of the quintet’s beginnings.
With a passion for education, Spectacle Brass has organized and hosted educational concerts, clinics, and special events with several middle and high school music programs. Last year, the group coached Atlanta Area Council Boy Scouts in a music merit badge session at Kennesaw State University. Spectacle also performed as featured soloists with the Wheeler High School Wind Ensemble in a presentation of Bernstein’s Mass, a project which served as a fundraiser for the school’s arts program.
Spectacle Brass made an appearance at the 2014 Bay View Music Festival in Petoskey, Michigan, during which the quintet performed several programs for surrounding communities including Harbor Springs and Indian Springs. Another project involved the recording of the brass music of William Funk, Artist-in-Residence at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.
Spectacle Brass almost always provides all required equipment to perform. In some cases, we request the purchaser provide chairs (without arms). In large venues where amplification is needed, we will have our live sound technician on-site to mix and operate our sound system. If the venue is already staged with sound equipment, we request you provide technical information (microphones, amps, layout) to us and our sound technician in the contract. In all cases, we kindly request the purchaser to provide information regarding the size and details of the staging area. Spectacle Brass has performed in some of the most unique venues and we love playing music anywhere. Regardless of where your event or concert is, we will ensure the highest musical and professional product available.

Standard Musical Selections
(Listed by Event Type)
All selections listed below are readily available in our music library and we would be happy to program any of these during your booking of the quintet.
Additionally, each contract provides for up to two selections that are not on this list (just send us a recording and/or sheet music and our staff arranger will transcribe the music for the group to perform).
If you need assistance choosing selections, call or email and let us know what your interests are for you and your guests. For example, one wedding couple loved Star Trek, so we arranged the Star Trek theme for their ceremony.
Lastly, if you would like to hear any particular selection, we invite you to join us at one of our rehearsals or Skype with us as we play through what you have chosen. YouTube can also be helpful if you simply need to hear what a particular tune sounds like.
Thank you for choosing Spectacle Brass, and we look forward to playing for you soon!
