IF you come to see Splash you will need to wade through the dancers on the dance floor to get a good view of the band. You will most likely start "bobbing" to the song playing when you walk in the room because the music we play is infectious in that way.
When you hire Splash you will get a band that will add your special songs for your wedding, anniversary or other event, a professional appearance, a polished sound with excellent vocals and a band that has fun every time we are on stage performing.
Requests? Absolutely. If someone in the band knows it we will consider trying it.
Splash is a female fronted high energy dance band providing a fun dance environment with music everyone loves and is familiar with. All of our music is danceable. It is not uncommon to see people on the dance floor beginning with the first song of the night. We will engage the audience, join them on the dance floor when the moment calls for it, encourage them to sing along with us on those parts of songs everyone likes to sing along with.
We are a professional group in that we set up well ahead of your event, dress appropriately and manage our volume. Our commitment to a professional attitude starts with our first conversation about your venue with you in mind the entire time. We want your event to be both memorable and enjoyable for guests of all ages.
Power - Most important is to have access to ample power for our equipment
Stage - or at least an area for the band to set up where guests will not wander to protect them from tripping over wires and to assure the band's equipment does not accidentally get pulled over by a guest
Inside or outside - If the event is outside, will there be a cover over the stage (if during the day)?
If the event is inside, will there be an opportunity to discuss the optimal set up of the room?
Lighting - We provide lighting but if there is lighting already available, we will defer to the house lights.
PA - We typically use our own PA, however there are those venues where a PA is provided. We will need to know this in advance as well as whether you will provide a sound man for that PA or not.
