Dillon was a joy to have perform at our venue. He showed up on time, presented a clean image, was courteous and professional. His set list was enjoyable, and his original music was great.
Dillon played at our winery for several years, and he was very much a fan-favorite - as well as one of our favorites as well. His voice is perfection, and he makes a special connection with his audiences. Dillon was a pleasure to work with, and if and when we bring live music back to our winery, he will be at the top of our list.
Response from Spurlin:
Thank you so much Lisa! One of my favorite places in all of ND to play! 😊

Spurlin is very adaptable, and can fill just about any space. With an easy set-up Spurlin is self-sufficient but always happy and grateful to work with in-house PA’s and sound people. Very friendly and welcoming with the Minnesota charm, he is always looking to meet people and make connections.
As far as the set goes, he can provide up to 2 hours of original music - and endless covers. His covers span over decades, making sure each person gets to hear a song that they enjoy, with an original twist on it. He shares stories behind his originals to connect with the audience and bring them into the introspection of love, loss and the human experience. His goal is to connect with people through song and voice.
He has been a performing singer/band member since he was 10 - originally starting out on drums in a church band. Now a multi-instrumentalist, he slowly made his way up to the front of the stage, taking on lead vocals with guitar / piano.
Spurlin, a versatile artist with a nomadic spirit, hails from the heartland of Minnesota. While his roots run deep in the Midwest, Spurlin's musical journey has taken him on adventures across the country, including winter retreats to Arizona. His music, a tapestry woven with introspection and retrospection, serves as a personal exploration of the human psyche.
Influenced by the singer-songwriters of the 1970s and the profound impact of Bob Dylan, Spurlin's sound is a harmonious blend of heartfelt melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. The wit of Paul Simon and the musical freedom of Paul McCartney further enrich his artistic palette.
As a singer, songwriter, producer, and composer, Spurlin's goal is to forge meaningful connections with his audience through his music. With each note and lyric, he strives to create a sonic experience that resonates deeply and leaves a lasting impression.
