Stan played for us while we were on the water at a sunset dinner and his music was perfect. The way he plays kind of gives the songs a folk feel to it which was perfect for the ambiance!

My performance will always be tailored to the type of event I am playing for, but in general, my music has been referred to as beautiful, relaxing and "sounds like 2 guitars".
A wedding reception will include romantic and soft classical guitar music, while a Spanish themed party will be much more upbeat and include music by Spanish classical guitarists and modern arrangements with flamenco techniques.
For a wine, coffee bar or dining room, I usually perform a lot of finger style arrangements of songs from the 60's (especially Beatles music) through 80's along with a few jazz standards, blues and country.
I can also provide some vocals if that is what the performance calls for. Some of the artists whose songs I sing are Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffet, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, Bob Seger, CCR, JJ Cale, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson and others.
Originally from the Utica, NY area, Stan Bozek has had a life-long passion for the guitar. At the age of 9, he began 4 years of private lessons with jazz guitarist George O’Dell and later continued to study classical and finger style guitar on his own. He also studied music business at Mohawk Valley Community College. His early influences included Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, Carl Perkins and Andres Segovia. Later influences included Liona Boyd, Christopher Parkening, Mark Knopfler and many others.
In the last 20 years, Stan has toured extensively in the US and Canada as a sideman, opening for, or sharing the stage with major acts such as Sheryl Crowe, Lee Greenwood, Ray Price, Pam Tillis, Dr. Hook, Edgar Winter, Susie McEntire and Tommy Cash.
Stan has recorded three instrumental CDs on his own and one live with the band. His music has gained him fans worldwide as a result of internet radio and he has received millions of plays on stations such as Pandora, Jango and Live 365 stations including Christmas 24/7, Radio Guitar, Winterscapes and others.
Stan and his latest CD was featured in the July 2016 issue of FINGERSTYLE GUITAR JOURNAL, an online publication based in Nashville that has included many of the greatest finger stylists in the world.
Whether performing as a soloist, composing for acoustic guitar or improvising an electric lead, Stan strives to focus on being melodic and tasteful while always playing with feeling. His performances have consistently resulted in favorable reviews.
I have all the equipment I need to perform for a room seating up to 300 people. This will normally include a guitar amp or 2, and a small PA that puts out 600 watts per side and a Shure SM58 mic.

Galveston "Resonator" acoustic electric
For outdoor performances, where no electricity is available, I use a battery powered amp which carries the sound of the guitar quite nicely.
