Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Lisa developed a sharp wit and sense of humor that Newfoundlanders are known for. After starting a professional stand-up career on the island, she moved to Alberta, continuing her comedy career.
Lisa has had multiple appearances on The Debaters. She's performed in every province and territory in the country, as well as at Just For Laughs Northwest and The Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
Lisa is currently burning up Tik Tok and just finished her 3rd self-produced cross country tour. She's recorded 2 albums, "To Completion" and "Super Newfie", which are featured on SiriusXM.

I have been a long time fan of Lisa... since her very first show! She has grown as a comedian so much, but one thing that didn’t change is how relatable she is. Not only she is funny as hell to the point you have to pee but you can sit back and say “omg I can see that happening or ugh I know someone like that too”

Recently saw Lisa at the Grindstone Comedy Festival, I was openly embarrassed by how hard I laughed. I was lucky enough to have chosen a longer shirt for the evening, as a more-than-dribble amount of urine squeaked out. She's a hard hitting, tell-it-like-it-is laugh riot! If you like well-written, edgy comedy with a heaping helping of hilarity you have to go see her. I was able to meet her after the show and she's cool as hell too!
I have seen Lisa Baker as host and headliner of many shows - I fell in love with her brand of comedy on the first night I saw her at least 4 years ago. She continues to make me laugh uproariously each and every outing with her brand of comedy.
I have known Lisa for a while now and on a daily basis she makes me laugh. I went to one of her shows with Mike Lynch and she was hilarious. She does not disappoint.

In school, even though she was a little older than me, I always found myself trying to beat it down between my classes to make it down by the drama club just to watch her crazy a$$ in action. She was always hilarious... She was just as much of an entertainer back then as she is today... just much, much better of course. LOL... her amazing talent, her raw humour, coupled with her amazing people person skills, she will have your party or group of friends roaring laughing in no time... ya won't be disappointed. Quick and witty Lisa will, without a doubt, not disappoint. I have been to several comedy shows and she is one is the most real people I have ever seen. Taking the realism of life and says the things that we are all thinking and delivers them in a way that will make you so hard it brings tears to your eyes.

We hired Lisa for a recent Golf Tournament and she was incredible. We had arranged to have her play in the golf tournament to allow her to meet and learn about our employees. She was discreet and affable but save the joking for the show later that night. When she was announced to the crowd there was a gasp as they recognized her from the day earlier. She proceeded to use her wit, wisdom and new knowledge of our employees to bring the house down. We would hire again but the cover is blown...but if we go to a local comedy club we will ask for Lisa.

As a comedian, she is going to joke about everything and everything. Don't take it seriously like the one person on this site did. Most comedians jokes are based on past experiences. They have gone through hard times like the rest of us.

I am very well-suited for most events, given my background and experience in the business. I have performed at most any event you can imagine: weddings, memorial service, fundraiser, conferences, Christmas parties, biker rallies, comedy clubs, birthday parties, retirement parties, and have some experience as a keynote speaker as well. I have a work background in office work and the trades. My stand up focuses on family, daily life, health, and relationships. I am originally from Newfoundland so keep in mind I do have an accent. My delivery tends to lean towards ranting, which audiences seem to very much enjoy. I am quite capable of crowd work and engaging the audience during a set. I pride myself on professionalism, and conduct myself accordingly.
