Mike did a segment at our virtual alumni gathering and was a hit! He even went as far as to familiarize himself with the college and folks that were registered so that he could engage the audience further, even in a virtual environment. Great entertainment for any organization, especially in these remote times.
Mike Freed is someone who I could invite into my home for an evening chat with friends or ask him to host a live show in front of a large crowd. Either way he would be both hilariously funny as well as intellectually challenging. He’s a comic who makes you think but he’s a person who’s not trying to get a laugh. Instead, he just seems to be delighted to be sharing thoughts that means something to him while enjoying the response of laughter from you. If you’ve got a corporate outing, online meeting, or a big event and there’s a stage with a microphone and I need to feel better and laugh, this is your guy.
Mike did a comedy show for our office via Zoom, which already presents obstacles for meetings. Mike worked easily in the Zoom environment and was very comfortable connecting with his audience, even though we were all virtual. He sharply moved from topic to topic, all family / office friendly, and had our staff laughing out loud throughout the presentation.

Mike is not just a phenomenal trial attorney. He is also outright funny, with a terrific dry sense of humor. I booked him to do a comedy set for my college alumni group, based on his assurance that Zoom is a good platform to use. He was right. I have never had so much fun on a Zoom conference. The set was great with a good bit of family-friendly material that would be generally applicable to any audience. I appreciated Mike also doing some research on my alma mater and coming up with some funny material that was unique to this particular crowd. I thoroughly enjoyed the event and look forward to commissioning Mike again in the future.
Freed is a feel good, intelligent, hilarious comic! No cheap jokes or curse words, just witty observations and funny perspectives on our lives and the times we find ourselves in. "Why do I need a button right when I purchase a shirt (that will just get lost)? Send it to me a year later please!" One of the best and the brightest, Mike never disappoints! We smiled for days after seeing his show! Don't miss the chance for a hardy laugh, ever!
It was so refreshing to enjoy a night of comedy that was intelligent, topical, and free of unnecessary vulgarity for the sake of impact. Mike was on point with current events, everyday trials and tribulations, and just the right amount of self-deprecation. Good times were had by all!

Mike is a clean observational comic who counts as his influences Demetri Martin, Steven Wright, Mitch Hedberg and Jerry Seinfeld. He performs regularly at the Comedy Zone in Jacksonville, Florida and at other clubs and venues nationally. Mike is a Jacksonville transplant from Washington D.C. He is a father of five who became a comedian after rising to a level of success as both an attorney and an ultra-marathoner. In other words, Mike has a short attention span. His material is largely self-deprecating and draws on the trials and tribulations of being a little bald guy in a big person world and his role as a father, husband, lawyer and a runner. Mike’s material is fresh, regularly updated, sometimes intellectual and sometimes stupid, but always clever. His comedy sets are fast paced, provocative and engaging. So, they are nothing like this biography.
