Henna is culturally used in weddings, coming of age ceremonies, before childbirth, and was once used to stain the skin of warriors going into battle in Persia.

I have been a visual artist, painter, illustrator for over 30 years. I have my B.A. in Fine Art & Art History. I started henna about 5 years ago. I love the tradition and culture that henna comes from. I meet so many interesting people at art festivals and parties where I do custom henna designs to each person’s request.
