The Engagement Ring Show

The Engagement Ring Show is a love-themed comedy circus show performed by Paul Perreault.

Each show, Paul attempts to woo a woman from his audience in hopes that she will fall in love with him! He begins to work his magic by impressing her with his hand balancing, knife juggling and acrobatic abilities! He makes her laugh throughout the entire show and wins her love by performing a beautifully choreographed Cyr Wheel routine! The deal is sealed when he gets down on one knee and proposes that she hold on to him so that they may spin in the wheel together! It proves to be the ride of her life!

The Engagement Ring Show puts a new spin on love!

Paul Perreault graduated from The National Circus School’s “Trainer Certification Program” and is a certified high-calibre circus coach! He also graduated from La Cit Collgiale’s “tudes en Loisirs” program and is a certified group facilitator and event management consultant.

Paul has been a street performer since 2002 and a circus artist since 2006. He has performed all across Canada and the U.S.A. He did three years as a human statue, five years with Phantastyk and two years with the international multi-award winning show, Stunt Double Circus. He has also worked for three Mexican circus companies as a coach and performer. He did three months for Havic Circus, one month for Circo Sentido and one month for DFectuoso Producciones. Since 2011, Paul has been the head Cyr Wheel coach for the bi-annual Chicago Big Wheel Weekend and sits on a committee in charge of creating a Cyr Wheel World Championship.

Paul is known for putting on a great show! He won many awards and medals as Ontario’s top six ranking national level improvisation competitor. He also won the 2011 People’s Choice Award at both the Toronto Buskerfest and the Seaport Village Buskers Festival. Paul feels as though his creativity, ability to improvise without hesitation, and his quirky sense of humour are all part of what make him such a successful street performer! He also feels that training 45 hours a week, every non-touring week for the better part of the past decade is what makes him such a successful circus artist!

The surface quality needs to be hard, smooth, flat, level and non-slippery.
Non-skid matte finish Marley dance surfaces are ideal for the show.
Other great surfaces include smooth asphalt, concrete, cement, hardwood, etc.
Some flooring can be too slippery to be performed on.
We’ll be happy to discuss your specific performance surface to make sure that it can accommodate The Engagement Ring Show.
