Comedian, actor, musician and singer, Steve brings a powerhouse of possibility to the stage. From pure stand-up to ridiculous singing telegrams, or even the serious heartfelt fundraiser host. Steve loves to make a moment memorable. Pointing out the obsurdities of everyday life as a male nurse, single father and man of faith, Steve will leave your crowd in stitches and wanting more. His standup set combines intellectual and goofy humor to create a fun atmosphere that will give your crowd something to think about.
Awesome emcee. We had a great event! Would definitely recommend.
Steve was easy to work with and did an excellent job! He provided much-needed laughter to the whole group of nurses present with his nursing anecdotes and humor. We would definitely have him return to perform for us in the future.
Thanks for the laughs!
Response from Steve Jerk:
Thanks LuAnn, you’ve got a great team, there. Thanks for letting me crash your party!
Steve went the extra mile to keep the show rolling. We had a tough crowd but he didn’t give up. Loved having you Steve!! Thank you so much!!
It was easy to coordinate with the Singer and I would recommend but disappointed he didn’t know the words to the one song we requested. He was personable and funny and it was a wonderful surprise but I would think for this cost the one song (other than happy birthday) would be memorized. It was from The Greatest Showman.
Steve was very funny. Enjoyed having him at our event. I would recommend him to others.
Thanks again Steve!!!
Response from Steve Jerk:
Thanks! We had a great time as well. I would love to come back.
Lined up remote in another state and Steve did an amazing job. On target, fun, funny and highly memorable. Just wish I could have been there and not just seen post event pics and clips!
Response from Steve Jerk:
Thanks Brad! It was a pleasure working with you and your group!
I want to say a big a 'BIG THANK YOU" to Steve for making My sister and brother-in-law's 70th Birthdays a SPECTACULAR EVENT. JOB WELL DONE!!!
We never laughed so much in our lives. We had SSSOOO MUCH FUN. My husband was SHOCKED. The Grief Reaper is Phenomenal!!!
Steve Jerk is just the right amount of charm and grace. He is funny, timely and sensitive with his ability to read an audience yet never alienate them. I would hire him again in a second. He was just the perfect emcee and comedian for our event.
Steve did a wonderful job emceeing our gala. He was entertaining, professional and extremely helpful in keeping things on time and running smoothly. I would highly recommend him and definitely look forward to using him again next year. He is very personable and easy going.
Response from Steve Jerk:
Thank you Shelli! It was a joy to work with you and all the wonderful people at GOW.
Thanks to Steve we had a great event. His clean humor connected very well with the audience and they responded with a lot of laughter. Extremely professional (showing up in time, working within the allotted time, polite, attire to match the event, etc). All stakeholders of the event were very happy with Steve's performance. I will hire Steve again for future events.
Response from Steve Jerk:
Thanks Brian! It was a pleasure working with you.
Our company hired singing telegrams the week of our Holiday Party to surprise our employees. Steve did a great job and he has an incredible voice! He came to our office two during the week and then the day of our Holiday Party. He was our CEO's favorite part of the entire week. He did a great job with the costume and more importantly he didn't just look the part, but acted the part. Would definitely hire again.
Response from Steve Jerk:
Thank you! I had a blast at your office for Holiday Week. I wish every office was as festive as yours!
Steve is a great guy for this event he just bombed out with the crowd he had most people were very disappointed
Response from Steve Jerk:
Thanks for your feedback! I found your church to be very warm and hospitable. Not every crowd is comfortable hearing from a divorced male nurse joking about his mistakes in life, but I strive to create material that is universal and beneficial for crowds of ALL ages and backgrounds. I believe I have the most to learn from the crowds that didn't enjoy my material as much as I had wanted. And I would like to hear more of your thoughts. So, if you would, please give me a call or email stevejerk.com@gmail.com to share more. Thanks again for having me!
For the second year in a row, Steve served as the emcee for Team NPF Bingo in Indianapolis, a fundraising event on behalf of the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) and did a fabulous job! As our emcee Steve was our evening host and kept the event moving and our audience entertained.
Our bingo event consisted of a cocktail hour followed by nearly three hours of playing bingo. The event included a buffet dinner along with a silent auction, wine wall and a paddle raise to help raise funds towards the mission of the NPF. Steve’s energy, enthusiasm and clean humor helped assure people were enjoying the evening and staying engaged (important for any fundraiser).
I (along with our planning committee members) especially appreciated how he interacted with the guests and comfortably reminded the audience as to the purpose of the event on many occasions. He was not shy, nor was he over-the-top in encouraging people to give and support the cause. He was especially adept at engaging the crowd and encouraging them to give during the paddle raise.
I would definitely recommend Steve to serve as an emcee for other fundraising events just as we would be happy to utilize Steve and his services again for future events.
We wanted something a little "out of the ordinary" and Steve totally delivered. We chose a giant ostrich costume for a singing telegram for my dad at his work. Steve went above and beyond by putting together a short (3-5 min) playlist of snippets of bird-related songs (followed by Happy Birthday. Everyone was wowed. Would definitely hire him again!
Steve Jerk gave a good performance & the evening was enjoyable for all the guests.
Steve Jerk was great and pleasant to work with. However, we were disappointed in the choice of opening act he brought along with him. We didn't know the other guy was coming then during his show he was very inappropriate with the audience we had including kids under age 10. We would recommend Steve Jerk but only him. And it would be appreciated if we knew ahead of time another comedian was coming along to do a opening act.
Steve was funny and a lot of funny! He was professional, easy to get a long with and communicated well. Our staff enjoyed him! We would recommend him!!

Steve delights audiences young and old through humor and storytelling. With a background in healthcare, Steve is perfect for corporate events, seminars or anytime caregivers need a good laugh. He is a hit with students and families celebrating a night out. You can even catch a live sample of Steve's work at comedy clubs around Indianapolis.
Far from an insult comic, Steve Jerk brings humor from everyday life as a humanitarian and single-father. From dating to working to just plain struggling, Steve has a take on almost everything but hard drugs. Growing up outside Orlando, Florida Steve was exposed to a variety of entertainment avenues, none of which inspired him to be the comic he is today. Instead, he moved to the Midwest and began a career in healthcare, spanning over a decade. It was the second longest decade of his life, next to his first marriage. All of that is behind him now, except for the lingering debt and ensuing poverty. Unable to afford even basic cable, Steve found himself looking for entertainment from the most unlikely of places; normal life. What happened next is anything but.
