As a child growing up his family was extremely well off for the first 8 years of his life. When the IRS came and took the family home away Steve found out very quickly what it was like to be poor! Leaving a 5,000 square foot 4 bedroom house in the suburbs for a 500 square feet one bedroom apartment in the hood makes you see the world differently. Having been everything from a police officer to a door to door vacuum cleaner salesman and high threat security contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan, he is now a nomadic comedian! Steve Peters has jokes for every audience and pulls from his life own life experiences- wait until you hear his story about working with infamous serial killer BTK!
