Steve usually shows up 30 minutes before showtime to setup, check equipment and do a sound check. Steve loves his audiences and enjoys getting them involved whether it's clapping or singing, he keeps the music going. His setlist typically starts out with something uptempo and then rolls through a melody of songs like a rollercoaster. Because of differing demographics, most all songs are already created on his setlist but he loves to take requests.
Steve's musical background started at a very early age, dating back to performing and singing as a kid in kindergarten, through grade school and high school. With both parents musically inclined, his mother Anne performed with Anita Bryant in High School in a quarto girl group back in the 50's, while his father Bob came from his own music background with his mother who's roots were entrenched in church hymnals. Additionally, his Dad managed and recorded a country band in Altus, Oklahoma called Nashville Four Plus One including one of the original Conway Twitty guitarists, Rusty Southerland.
Later, as Steve grew into his eventual career in radio, he would be subjected to a flood of musical influences never experienced before in his career. From "Music Of Your Life" / Sinatra, Martin, Williams, Cole etc, to 50's 60's Rock N Roll and later on into the Classics of the 70's & 80's Rock, Pop and Jazz.
From Radio, Steve's career blossomed further into the industry of Television with a background in producing commercials, camera work and video editing, thanks in part to Rose State College where he worked to further his career in both fields he still enjoys today. Adding on to his roster of talent, Steve adds the role of Actor onto his resume and is member of SAG/AFTRA.
His combined history and catalogue of work, transcends into a fun, lively and appealing presentation of entertainment.

Depending on the size of the event, Steve will typically show up 45 minutes early in some cases for setup.
The setup is simple and includes a mic stand and main tower speaker system. He'll often have some background music relative to the genre of the event before showtime. For bigger venues, we use two speakers for volume coverage giving it that full concert sound. All cables are flattened by carpet squares and or tape to keep down a tripping hazard. For further information, reach out to Steve at (email hidden)
All setlists are dependent on the demographics of the audience and genre.
If the audience is 55+ Steve will do a combination of 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, Rock and Country
