Overview
I play an arrangement of classical pieces, finger-style arrangements of popular music, originals and electric guitar if the gig calls for it. I do my best to cater each performance specifically to what my client needs. I have played music professionally for over 10 years and love getting to share it with others.

Steven was super awesome and I would absolutely have him play at one of my events again or recommend him to others. Steven was responsive and friendly through chat and text. He showed up before the scheduled start time to set up, as expected. He played a variety of instrumental finger-picking acoustic as well as rockin' electric style music with a backing track. Steven is highly proficient with his guitar playing, which I know first-hand as a guitar-player myself . Also, because he's a solo act, he was perfect for our backyard party without being too loud but still loud enough to dance and listen throughout the yard.

What to Expect
If you're not early you're late. I always show up with adequate time to get an understanding of the venue and set up my gear appropriately for the event. I always strive to bring a fun, friendly and professional attitude to every event.
I aim to make each and every performance as easy and smooth as I can for the venue/event planner by asking all necessary questions ahead of time so we both know what to expect going in. This way the day of the event can go as smoothly as possible.
Well dressed, well rehearsed and ready to perform is what you should expect when hiring me.
About
My name is Steven Pontius and I hail from Marysville, Washington. I write a variety of music ranging from finger-style to rock to heavy metal. I am currently performing solo finger style guitar gigs at wineries, private events, etc. and working on new original music.
Additional Booking Notes
The only thing I currently don't provide is lighting. I will provide an amp/PA, microphone and anything needed for me to perform.
If the event is outdoors, I will need some sort of cover provided. If the event takes place during very cold times of the year and is also outdoors then good heating near me is needed, I can't perform if my fingers are frozen!
