I am a professional guitarist living in Tennessee. I studied classical guitar at the Hartt School of Music and have been playing and teaching for twenty-five years. I can bring to your event a blend of classical guitar repertoire and contemporary fingerstyle guitar that adds a special touch to any occasion. I offer a broad range of styles including classical, rock, country, acoustic and Jazz. Whether you want traditional wedding ceremony music, contemporary pop, rock, country tunes, or any of your favorite songs arranged for solo (link hidden)'s all about what you want. If this is what you envision for your wedding or function, a solo guitar player may be just what you're looking for!
Steven did a great job on our corporate dinner event. He was very responsive when I had any questions leading up to the event and arrived ontime to set up his PA system so everything was ready. Definitely a talented classical guitarist. He played background music throughout the evening that helped set a nice, classy atmosphere for our event.
Steven played at our tiny backyard wedding and it was the perfect finishing touch.
He's a total pro and a fantastic musician.
Steve was great to work with. He was incredibly responsive and collaborative in putting together the right music for our father's memorial service. He was in touch constantly during the planning process; he was on time (actually, early) for our event; and the music was lovely. We received many positive comments from our guests. All around, it was a very positive experience at an otherwise trying time. I would highly recommend Steve to others.
Steve is both pleasant and professional. He spent the time he needed to get everything just right. Very easy to work with and terrific results. The next time I work with a guitarist Steve will be the first person I contact. I recommend him highly.
I booked Steven on GigSalad....it was a great response back from the entertainer and gave me a reasonable quote. My guests loved his music and he played so well. They all loved him as he mingled within the crowd after he played...We are going to have him back again for all our functions....
Steven did a wonderful job at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He went above and beyond when he agreed to accompany a family member who wanted to sing a song at our ceremony. And he worked with her beforehand to make sure it was perfect. He was very flexible with song selections, and his playing is absolutely beautiful. Communication was easy and he was always responsive. Overall a wonderful experience.
We hired Steven to play at our wedding ceremony in May 2014. He was fantastic. He was not only on time, but he made things very easy for us by getting his sound system needs taken care of ahead of time. In fact, by the time I noticed Steven had arrived, he was sitting in his chair all set up and ready to go!
Steven played every song we asked for, and he played all of them exceptionally. In my opinion, he sounds better in "real life" than the samples on his website. Multiple guests at our wedding commented to me personally about how great Steven's performance was and how well he played all of the songs. I could not recommend Steven highly enough; if you're looking for a classical guitarist to make that special day even more special, he's your man. He made things very easy for us, and, more importantly, made our wedding day that much more special. What more could you ask for?
Steven was hired to play a mostly classical set at a memorial service and was a wonderful choice. He was attentive to our set list requests, on time, professional, and an outstanding musician. We were very pleased with his performance and whole heartedly recommend him.
