StopTime is a group of old friends united by a love of popular jazz ballads, R&B and dance tunes, ranging from the early 20th century to today. We are a quintet and play multiple instruments including sax, trombone, guitar, bass, recorder and percussives and are led by a female vocalist. StopTime has played many venues in the Denver area including private, public, weddings and charity. We have a lot of fun performing and that joy comes through in our music.
We are at our best entertaining restaurant-goers or in a concert setting and are happy to add numbers to our extensive book (see below) for special events.

StopTime's audience participants enjoy themselves listening to lively jazz and R&B favorites such as Moondance, Don't Get Around Much and Willie and the Hand Jive, plus ballads like Black Coffee, Cry Me A River, and Masquerade. They appreciate the entertaining vocal deliveries, the smooth group playing, and the improvised solos. Most of all, they are swept along with the fun the group members are having while performing.
